Our diverse team of qualified and experienced staff focuses on a person-centered approach to ensure participants meet their individual life goals. We listen to and understand participants’ requirements through in-person, call or video meetings. Sagecare Australia understands the understand the dilemma of finding the right person to provide support, we ensure our services are provided with utmost care and respect to all participants, members of the family, and support workers.
Support workers can help you to build day-to-day skills (maintaining hygiene, budgeting, scheduling the day, education assistant).
Our support workers assist participants to engage in activities through the established networks in the community, they also assist family members and carers to give them respite support which helps family members take a short break from every day caring responsibilities. The support work can also include a range of other activities such as preparing meals, basic household tasks, assisting participants with transport for appointments, family visits, grocery shopping, etc. We encourage participants to develop new skills, hobbies, and interests to help them improve their confidence in achieving life goals. Some of our support workers also assist to link participants with employment providers to help them with employment opportunities.
